Anyone can submit an event. Every submission is reviewed before it appears, and listings confirmed against an official source are marked as verified. We link to the organiser's own page for booking - we don't sell tickets. You can send us an email if you need any details of an event amended. Note: If you are the host of an event, you can claim it and manage the event and attendee list.

We can't possibly list every book an author has written - some have been incredibly busy! Instead, we feature books we know are being highlighted at events, along with a selection of the author's latest titles.

We're not on social media - and that's intentional. Simply browse this site to discover upcoming author events, new authors and books, all in one place.

Organisers, publishers, bookshops and libraries: we'd love a regular feed of your events. Click the orange Submit an event button at the top and complete the simple form. If you have multiple events to submit, you can download an Excel template, add your event details, and attach it to the form.

I’m a born-and-bred Kiwi with a lifelong love of reading. The idea for this website began with my partner, who has a passion for collecting first-edition books and whenever possible, having them signed by the authors. When I first shared the idea with him, he wasn’t quite as enthusiastic about it as I was! So I decided to quietly bring it to life and show him what I could create. A few friends and family members also volunteered their time to help with testing and give feedback, which I’m extremely grateful for. My Dad in particular, was an immense help. From there, the site grew organically. One idea led to another, and many early mornings, lunchtimes and late nights later, it has become something I’m genuinely proud of. I’ve always loved bringing information together in one place and making it easy for people to find, so creating a home for book events, bookshops, little libraries and more, felt like a natural fit. I hope this website becomes a useful and enjoyable resource for book lovers all over Aotearoa, helping people discover events, places and perhaps even a few books they might otherwise have missed. Authors dedicate books to the people who mean something special to them. I’m dedicating this website to him. 💜
