Appreciating Poetry Course

Join Jo Priestley for a relaxed, discussion-based course exploring poetry and the ways poets create meaning through language, imagery, symbolism, tone, and other literary techniques. These sessions are shared conversations rather than lectures, with everyone encouraged to contribute their own thoughts, interpretations, and experiences. Whether you studied poetry years ago or are simply curious to understand it more deeply, this course offers a welcoming space to discover fresh perspectives and reconnect with the richness of poetry. Jo holds a Master’s in English from the University of Auckland and is currently completing her Adult Teaching Certificate. Spaces are limited - so register now!
