Book Launch: Dido on the Edge

Celebrate the launch of Bianca Parker’s debut novel, Dido on the Edge, published by Wisteria Publishers. This queer fantasy adventure follows a closeted trans girl who is unexpectedly thrust into a strange and dangerous world. There, she encounters a military group led by two familiar literary figures — Wendy from Peter Pan and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz — who help her navigate the challenges ahead and find her way. The novel also features illustrations by emerging Kiwi artist Sophia Curlew. The launch will be held upstairs at Time Out Bookstore in Mt Eden. Please note that the upstairs event space is not wheelchair accessible. Free to attend — no booking required.
