Bookshop Day at Wardini Books Havelock North

Wardini Books Havelock North is celebrating National Bookshop Day with a very special musical gathering among the shelves. Hawke’s Bay is home to some fabulous authors whose creativity extends well beyond the written word. Mary-anne Scott, Cristina Sanders, Louise Ward and other local writers will come together to make music in the bookshop, with the aim of creating a sweet soundtrack to the day (11am - 12pm). There will also be a special appearance from Wardini Books team member Phill McCaughey on bodhrán, adding some extra rhythm to the proceedings. Visitors can also:

It’s a chance to celebrate Hawke’s Bay’s talented creative community with books, music and a little fun between the shelves.
