Don't Talk About Rocks

The first rule is you don’t talk about rocks… or do you? Join superstar duo Sacha Cotter and Josh Morgan for a special grown-up reading of A Guide to Rocks. They’ll then sit down with Claire Mabey (Cass and the Beast) to explore the story behind the book and the meaningful conversations it sparks between children and adults. Expect a lively discussion about storytelling, curiosity and the big ideas hidden in children’s books. Accessibility: venue wheelchair accessible. This event is part of VerbCrawl, a one-night literary festival that brings the streets of central Pōneke alive with writers, readings and literary happenings.
