International Writers' Workshop - Prize giving and End of Year Function

Prize giving and End of Year Function Announcement of the 2026 winner of The Kathleen Grattan Prize for a Sequence of Poems Venue: St Aidans, upstairs in the auditorium, and on Zoom. RSVP essential by email to by Thursday 12 November 2026. Please state whether you will be attending in person or via Zoom. We need to know who is attending in person, including the names of any guests you will be bringing with you. This is to assist with catering and to ensure there is a pretty name badge for you and your guest(s). We need to know if you plan to attend via Zoom so you can be sent the Zoom link. For those attending in person - whether member or guest – please 'bring a plate' of finger food, either savoury or sweet, suitable for a shared lunch. Schedule: 10.15am Volunteers to help set up. 11am Light refreshments, mix and mingle Enjoy the chance to meet other members, writers, presenters, judges and competition winners, and look at the books on the Pride of Publishing Display table. Pride of Publishing Display This year we are inviting all of our members and guests who have published a book or been included in an anthology to bring along one copy of one book to display on our 'unmanned' Pride of Publishing Display table and to prepare a 60 second summary of your display book to talk about during the proceedings. There will be no capacity for book sales from the display table therefore we ask that all sales take place directly between seller and buyer after the End of Year Function and those who want to sell books keep your sale copies in your car or in your bag. 11.30am Start of formalities including President's Welcome, Presentation of certificates for 2026 and the announcement of the winner and runner-up of The Kathleen Grattan Prize for a Sequence Poems with Janet Newman who will be joining us via Zoom. 12.30pm approx. Shared Finger Food Lunch supplied by members and guests. 1pm Volunteers help to clean up.
