About this event
A murder in a gothic Dunedin cathedral. Mysterious disappearances in Wellington. Crime fiction takes a fresh turn with two exciting new voices, Molly Crighton (The Body and the Blood) and Anthony Lapwood (Mincemeat), who are challenging genre conventions and bringing queer perspectives to the forefront. In conversation with Damien Levi of Āporo Press, they’ll discuss their latest books, the art of crafting a compelling mystery and the secrets, themes and hidden truths that lie beneath the surface of a crime story. Where to buy the books: Find the featured titles at VerbCrawl’s official bookseller, Unity Books, or from the venue host, Aurelia Books. Accessibility: This venue is wheelchair accessible. This event is part of VerbCrawl, a one-night literary festival that brings the streets of central Pōneke alive with writers, readings and literary happenings.
