About this event

Join much-loved actor, presenter, author and master storyteller Sir Tony Robinson for an entertaining evening celebrating his extraordinary career, his passion for history and his exciting debut novel, The House of Wolf. Best known as the unforgettable Baldrick in Blackadder and for presenting 20 seasons of Time Team, Tony will share behind-the-scenes stories from a life on stage and screen, including tales from Blackadder, Time Team, The Worst Jobs in History and beyond. He’ll also delve into the world of The House of Wolf, his historical fiction debut written at the age of 78. Set during the reign of Alfred the Great, the novel explores the brutal realities of life amid Saxon kings, Viking raiders and medieval power struggles. Following the success of his sold-out 2026 tour, Tony returns to Australia and New Zealand with more fascinating stories, plenty of laughs and the opportunity for audiences to ask their own questions. Expect brilliant storytelling, history brought vividly to life and, of course, perhaps the occasional cunning plan.
