About this event
In a world of misinformation, slippery truths and stories that spread in an instant, can you tell fact from fiction? Join a line-up of acclaimed writers for an entertaining literary guessing game where each takes the stage to share a story that may be true or entirely invented. Listen closely, weigh up the clues and decide what’s real before the big reveal! Hosted by Jo Randerson (Secret Art Powers), the event features Joseph Trinidad (Lucky Creatures), Una Cruickshank (The Chthonic Cycle), Nick Ascroft (It’s What He Would’ve Wanted), Kiri Lightfoot (Te Ngahere I Te Rā: The Forest by Day) and Jem Yoshioka (Folk Remedy). Accessibility: This venue is wheelchair accessible. This event is part of VerbCrawl, a one-night literary festival that brings the streets of central Pōneke alive with writers, readings and literary happenings.
