Wellington City Book Club

Our club is for anyone seeking to make new friends based on their common love for books. We read all genres, and share our views in a fun setting. New members are always welcome. No experience is required, just a great attitude and a bit of good humour is all it takes! We meet on the first Thursday of the month for a book discussion while we share drinks and food. We aim for interesting conversations by opening our minds to different points of view and themes. From the February 2020 meeting, we'll be asking attendees to contribute a $1 koha at each meeting towards our website fee. This is voluntary, but we have to pay for the technology. Every month the members of the club decide what book to read by vote. Everyone has a say on what book we should read and we aim to give all options a chance at some point. Interesting, unusual and thought provoking books are popular with our members. Join us today! :)
