About this little library
A much-loved community library on Herald Island, housed alongside the historic former fire station and post office at 57 Ferry Parade. Run by local volunteers, the library offers a wide-ranging collection of fiction, non-fiction, local history, audiobooks and DVDs, all donated by the community. It also hosts a book club and children's reading activities, making it a wonderful example of a library created and sustained by its local community.
