About this little library
The Te Hā o Mātauranga Little Library is a colourful community book exchange outside the Te Hā o Mātauranga education hub at 14 Ludstone Road, Kaikōura. Built by the local Kaikōura Community Shed and painted by local artists, it is one of five little libraries around Kaikōura. The library is freely accessible and operates on a simple take-a-book, leave-a-book basis, giving locals and visitors the opportunity to share books and discover something new to read.
