This is The Book Exchange — a warm hug for book lovers and a beloved Glen Eden staple since 1982. More than a bookshop, it celebrates the simple magic of books, good coffee and community. The store supports local authors and artisans, with a range of locally made products available alongside its carefully curated collection of books. At its heart, The Book Exchange believes in giving things a second life. Customers can bring in a preloved book and, if it’s the same quality and genre, exchange it for another at 50% off the marked price.* It’s a place to slow down, browse awhile, discover something new to read, and enjoy the comforting ritual of books, coffee and community. *Excludes brand-new books.
