Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop

Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop is an independent bookshop in Greytown, opened in December 2020 in a building that once housed the Greytown Library. Since then, it has become a welcoming destination for book lovers from the Wairarapa and around New Zealand. The shop offers a carefully curated selection of fiction, non-fiction and children’s books, along with fine stationery and jigsaw puzzles. With friendly service and a relaxed browsing experience, visitors can take their time exploring the shelves, meeting the shop’s Advisory Board and enjoying the cosy warmth of the log burner throughout winter.
